Dr Amy Fletcher
Amy Fletcher is a Senior Lecturer in Political Science at the University of Canterbury. Her research and teaching focus on the life sciences and biotechnology industries and the bio-politics of the environment and health. She is particularly interested in how technologies shape our understanding of wildlife, nature and animals, and has published journal articles on both de-extinction and xenotransplantation.
Amy's new book, Mendel's Ark: Biotechnology and the Future of Extinction, has just been published by Springer.
